Mesh uploaded in any viewer using 'skin weight' and 'joint positions' may fail to translate avatar skeleton bones when worn. This type of rigged mesh is known as a 'deformer' and is used to alter avatar appearance in conjunction with one's shape. It requires no animation or scripting. Contact KjartanEno Resident for a sample of the rigged deformers.
The bug occurs when the deformer(s) are worn as part of an outfit, and they initially show the proper deformation. However, if any rigged or unrigged attachments aside from the deformer(s) are removed from the current outfit, the bone translations may cease to show, as if the deformer(s) are no longer worn (but they are in fact shown as attached).
I've tested on Windows: LL EEP 6.4.0, Black Dragon (new EEP release), and Kokua RLV 6.3.8.
I've tested on Linux: Cool VL Viewer, Singularity, Firestorm 6.3.2, Kokua RLV 6.3.6 and RLV 6.3.8.
In all viewers except Kokua RLV 6.3.8, the rigged mesh deformers perform as expected.
