Kokua 6.4.13

Kokua 6.4.13 is now available. As well as parity with LL’s 6.4.13 (Impostor/jelly doll improvements) this release ports in a number of features requested by users.

There are group windows outside of the People floater allowing more than one group panel or group notice creation dialogue to be open at once. There is also a new window for a combined Block, Derender and persistent Derender as well as per-avatar rendering override settings. Both of these are ported from Catznip, so a big kudos to Kitty Barnett for the original implementation of these.

Also ported are adjustments for toast settings in Preferences along with the ability to change the chat toast width and the ability to only list active gestures. Both of these are from Firestorm, so kudos to the original implementers (Zi Ree and Pantera Polnocy) as well as the Firestorm maintainers who have worked on the code since.

In addition there is the usual selection of our own fixes and tweaks - see the Release Note for more information.

6.4.12 Again

We’ve now rebuilt the Windows installers and re-staged the Linux and Mac installers which turned out to be unaffected.

Apologies to anyone who grabbed the original Windows versions. Simply install the newer versions over the top and all will be fine again.

We’ve discovered a problem with the 6.4.12 installers which appears to be caused by a new addition by LL which slipped unchallenged through the merging process. Being new, it didn’t create a conflict in the merging.

A test build is currently underway to check the fix and once we know that’s good we’ll set about rebuilding the installers.

Kokua Release 6.4.12

Kokua 6.4.12 has now been released. This brings Kokua to parity with LL’s 6.4.12 in addition to RLV 2.9.29.0 as announced in yesterday’s second 6.4.11-based release.

See the Kokua 6.4.12 Release Notes for more information or head straight over to the Downloads to grab it.

We have just finished releasing Kokua 6.4.11 merged with RLV 2.9.20.0. You can grab it from our Downloads page or read more about it in the Kokua 6.4.11/RLV 2.9.29.0 Release Notes

However, LL have just released 6.4.12 which is a Maintenance release so we will be releasing our 6.4.12 quite soon.

So - if you really want to see the new RLV features, go ahead and install. If you’d rather just install once in a week, wait a day or two for the 6.4.12 release to be announced
