Kokua 6.6.13 Release Notes

In some cultures 13 is considered an unlucky number, however that’s not the case for Linux users since we are pleased to announce that we are restarting Linux releases with this version!

We welcome Erik Kundiman to the Kokua team who has performed the mammoth task of getting the Linux build from pre 6.6.0 up to the current release.

6.6.13 brings Kokua to parity with LL’s own 6.6.13 release. Release notes: https://releasenotes.secondlife.com/viewer/6.6.13.580918.html This is a maintenance release bringing improvements in transparent object highlighting and translation features.

The Kokua-specific changes are listed below together with some explanatory notes immediately below where they are needed.

KKA-1027 (RLV only) - The 360 snapshot floater’s preview provides a RLV cheat by showing the preview without any HUDs. Since showing HUDs is not really sensible in a 360 view context the floater is now disabled when there are any locked huds.

KKA-1024 & KKA-1020 - Support for enabling/disabling using : to start an emote has now been standardised between NORLV and MKRLV and an option control added in Preferences

KKA-1021 - We’ve not made any changes here, but believe it’s been fixed by LL as noted in their release notes
