Kokua 7.1.8 is now available from

This brings Kokua to parity with LL’s 7.1.8 release (which is also the basis for Firestorm’s recent 7.1.9 release).

Note that PBR mirrors put additional load on the graphics rendering - frame rate drops to around half the previous maximum should be expected.

LL has been working with contributors to generate a working build of the viewer for Linux. This activity is currently taking place on the Maintenance B development branch. Once this work approaches completion we will overhaul the Kokua Linux version to bring it line with this version and ensure that Kokua’s Linux performance is on a par with the LL version. The current recommended minimum for Kokua is currently Ubuntu 20. This will increase in the near future to Ubuntu 22 when a CEF upgrade requires the change.
