Kokua 6.4.11 Release Notes

This release brings Kokua to parity with LL version 6.4.11 ( https://releasenotes.secondlife.com/viewer/6.4.11.551711.html ) and also RLV 2.9.28.3 ( https://realrestraint.blogspot.com/2020/11/rlv-29283.html ) and RLV 2.9.28.2 ( https://realrestraint.blogspot.com/2020/10/rlv-29282.html ).

We have followed Marine’s lead in early incorporation of the fix from LL that prevents the landmarks windows from jumping around as items are selected. Marine’s other fix in RLV, removing some old hover height-related code, had already been removed in Kokua so that change is of no relevance. RLV 2.9.28.2 brings in a number of bug fixes - see Marine’s blog for details.

The other notable fix in this version is that the Web tab in Profiles now works again, providing access to an alternative way of managing the friends permissions (see on map, see online, edit my objects) to that presented within the viewer which has had some recent reliability issues on Cloud regions.

Following a request we have provided a UI to the options to accept inventory automatically (notecards, textures, landmarks), ported over Firestorm’s option to receive a notification in the local chat window and added a new option that extends the auto-accept to cover all items. Note that inventory offers to #RLV are excluded from automatic acceptance due to possible griefing risks. The new options appear in Preferences on the Privacy tab.
