Kokua Release 6.3.6

Kokua Release 6.3.6 is now available, bringing Kokua to parity with the official viewer release of 6.3.6 (see here for its Release Notes).

In addition this release contains some new features for RLV users

• The mouse pointer will not change to sit/hand if over something that restrictions prevent interacting with (RLVa functionality, ported to Kokua)

• When starting an IM with send or receive blocked to that person/group there will be a message in the IM window as a warning that the message you’re about to send or receive will be replaced with default text

• The new name anonymising code is further improved to better handle cases where one name is a subset of another also nearby

• High values of RenderResolutionDivisor can make the CPU or GPU run at near 100% if ALM is also turned on which can lead to viewer or computer crashes in extreme cases. When a high value of RenderResolutionDivisor is set via RLV ALM will be temporarily disabled until it is restored. RenderResolutionDivisor changes will not persist across logins if changed through RLV (however it will for changes made manually through the debug settings)

There are also some new or ported features for all users

• Text size in script menus and menu buttons can now be switched between small and standard (Kokua previously used small for buttons and standard for text). This also applies to llTextBox descriptive text

• When setting land for sale it is now possible to directly enter a L$/square meter value and the price is calculated from there

• When clicking on a ‘for sale’ parcel in the World Map away from the ‘for sale’ tag the price is now displayed (this requires the option to display parcel names to be turned on, along with the option to show parcels set for sale)

• The date display for group notices has been changed to YYYY-MM-DD which prevents the sorting from going wrong during the period where there are notices from the end of one year and the start of the next
